Adoration is the act of showing deep reverence, awe, and love toward God, often through prayer and worship. In the Catholic tradition, it involves dedicating time to focus on God’s presence, seeking spiritual closeness and guidance.
On November 4th, 2024, each theology class at St. John Neumann participated in a half-hour session of adoration at Church, offering prayers for the elections. Students sat quietly, taking time to reflect and pray for wisdom for voters, guidance for candidates, and peace and unity for the country.
Students prayed silently while the teachers played soft music, creating an atmosphere conducive to quiet reflection. The experience provided an opportunity for personal contemplation and spiritual connection, emphasizing the importance of prayer during pivotal moments in the life of the nation.
