My new Naples location this week is..! Third Avenue! Do you love the vibe, restaurants, and shops of Fifth Avenue, but hate the craziness? Third Avenue is the calmer version of this street. It gives off small beach town vibes and has, in my opinion, better restaurants! I discovered this street by accident when I was on a bike ride one day. I told my parents about my discoveries later that day, and the next time we had guests we went down that way to have an amazing dinner at Barbatella, an Italian restaurant. Even my grandma, who lives all the way in New Jersey, raves about it. Every time she visits, she asks to have dinner there!
While on one of my little excursions on my bike, I found this rustic cafe, Tony’s Off Third. They have a bunch of sweet treats and a great Matcha Latte! They also sell cakes and different wines. They have a gorgeous patio with a lot of seating. On a hot afternoon it was nice to sit out there and take a break.
Third Avenue is also very close to the beach, so there’s always a nice cool breeze. To add to the aesthetic of this street, there are a bunch of beach houses around the area. They are cute, older homes and I love to ride past them and imagine owning a house like that one day! I definitely recommend coming there for dinner one evening, or to stopping by if you are ever on Fifth Avenue since they are very close to each other.
