Long time rivals East Carolina University (pirates) and North Carolina State (Wolfpack) faced off last Saturday. A game full of grit and aggressiveness came to an end with NC State barely winning with a final score of 21-20. 

Next up it was LSU (Tigers) against Florida State (Seminoles). In this situation the underdogs won! Florida State won with a final score of 24-23. 

A game with over 93,000 in attendance setting a record for that stadium, the Florida Gators faced off against the Utah Utes. Florida was another underdog that came out with the win. Florida had a red zone stop for a win against Utah with a final score of 29-26. 

Furthermore, into the action packed Saturday, it was the Ohio Buckeyes versus the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. Ohio had a strong first quarter, and then Notre Dame contained the second. At  that point the seemingly close battle turned into a 21-10 win for the Buckeyes. 

The Michigan Wolverines also had a game Saturday against CO State. The Wolverines displayed why they are ranked number 4 with a 51-7 win. 

Another surprising game was the Georgia Bulldogs against the Oregon Ducks. What was expected to be a battle became a slaughter with the Bulldogs winning 49-3. 

Alabama prevailed over Utah State with a final score of 55-0. 

Clemson beat Georgia Tech with a final score of 41-10. 

Overall, it was a weekend full of action packed games, and there are even better matchups to come next week!
