I’m sure everyone knows about the coffee shop, Starbucks. It’s a cafe that sells multiple kinds of coffee, foods, and other beverages. There are various sizes such as Short (8oz), Tall (12oz), Grande (16oz), and Venti (20-24oz). They sell morning beverages such as coffee and tea, but they also sell refreshers and seasonal themed items. If you want to change your order around, you can make custom orders. These custom orders can go from a Vanilla Chai with strawberry cold foam to a Pink Drink with vanilla sweet cream and vanilla cold foam. I’ve tried both of those drinks and they are my favorite when it comes to quick drinks.
Starbucks first started on the streets of Seattle as a small, local coffee shop. Ten years later, a New Yorker named Howard Shultz joined the company. Shultz went on a trip to Milan in 1983, where he experienced Italy’s coffee shops. Shultz brought the warmth and artistry back to Starbucks. Soon after, Starbucks spread to places such as Chicago, California and even Japan. They always stick to their mission: “With every cup, with every conversation, with every community – we nurture the limitless possibilities of human connection.” It is now possible to find a Starbucks in stores such as Barnes & Nobles and Target. That small coffee shop is now a popular study area and quick drink stop in most places.
