“Coraline” is a different type of thrilling movie, made with real life dolls and a real made scene. While exploring her new house she stumbles upon a small door behind her wall, leading into a life very similar to hers, but with some slight changes. She comes across interesting neighbors and experiences. What will Coraline do next, stay in her regular world? Or perhaps stay in this similar, yet odd other world?
I personally really enjoyed the film and its story, but I also love the fact that all the dolls, and scenes are made by hand. Dakota Fanning plays such a lively and amazing voice, really matching her character. The story and how it progresses is very interesting, and it’s fun to watch it unfold. The hint of horror following through the film is also very fun to watch.
I give “Coraline” 5 stars. You should definitely check it out!
