In 2014, Director Luc Besson presented the world with his film “ Lucy”. As you dive into this movie, Lucy, an American woman, finds herself in Taiwan with her then-boyfriend Richard. As the story unfolds Lucy finds herself kidnapped in the midst of biological experiments, smuggling, and human experiments. Yet, the tables turn as Lucy accidentally becomes a smuggler and human experimenter.

“Lucy” is a thrilling, thought-provoking movie which immediately draws the audience in through immense attention to detail and the way the sounds change and the scenes grow in color throughout the movie. The talented cast features Scarlett Johansson as Lucy, and Morgan Freeman as Professor Samuel. Both connect to their characters through tone and body language. Written and directed by Luc Besson, “Lucy” is an incredible movie for anyone whether you’re a fan of action or Sci Fi, maybe even those of you who love an occasional thriller as well.

I give this movie 4.5/5 stars! This production is amazing, capturing depth, chaos, and kidnapping and is one heck of a cliffhanger.
