What made you want to come to SJN?

James Grande, the new English teacher at Neumann, chose to come to Neumann because of the good experience he had in Catholic school during his childhood. He likes the learning environment of Catholic schools.

How has your experience at Neumann been since the start of school?

Grande says that since the start of school he has had an amazing time here at SJN, even though it’s his first time teaching English.

What did you do before you came to SJN?

Grande has previously taught technology at other schools, and has a music career as a guitar soloist as well. He has shared a stage with Weezer and multiple other bands. Grande preforms for private occasions and at big events. He has participated in corporate events, such as at the Tiburon Golf Club

How long have you been in Florida, specifically Naples? 

Grande shares that he has been in Naples for 4 years. Before moving to Naples, he lived in Rhode Island. He goes back to New England for performances.

What’s your favorite thing about teaching here?

Grande loves being able to integrate faith into the classroom while teaching.
