While California is huge in size, there are still many things to do in the Golden State! If you travel to California you have to make sure that you plan to stay a while so that you can see everything it has to offer. The first thing I suggest you see is the famous Golden Gate Bridge which is an iconic landmark of San Francisco. It offers breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay that opens to meet the Pacific Ocean. You can see the bridge from many different spots, like Crissy Field, Torpedo Wharf, Fort Point, and various beaches.

Another thing you should definitely see is the Hollywood Walk of Fame, located on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles. The Star Studded sidewalk has 2,775 celebrity names engraved on it so you can visit celebrities from all different times! The first star that was laid on the boulevard was Stanley Kramer on March 28 1960. 

There are so many other things you can do while visiting, like relaxing and tanning on a nice beach. Take a drive to Santa Monica Beach, which is known for its iconic Santa Monica Pier. The Pier  features an amusement park, various restaurants, and stunning ocean views. While the Pier is free to all visitors, there are some areas that need ticket access, like the aquarium. Also each of the amusement park rides charges an individual fee. However, you can get a pass that allows you to ride all twelve rides for an unlimited amount of times.

After you work up an appetite walking around the Pier you can stop and enjoy a nice meal at one of the restaurants located around the Pier. Some restaurants include Patio 66 Bar and Grill which serves a variety of American Style foods like hot dogs, chicken tenders, and fried chicken. Another favorite, the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. serves a variety of fish, and of course, shrimp. While there are many other restaurants you can visit I am gonna leave you with one more, The Albright. The Albright serves a mix of both American style food and fried fish! I definitely suggest that if you are in California that you visit the Santa Monica Pier, it will be a vacation that you will remember forever!
