Neumann wins their first home game against Gateway Charter with a final score of 16-8.

On September 1st Neumann’s put up a win against Gateway Charter High School in their home opener. With a final score of 16-8. Leading scorers of the game were Jake Bruni who also had a QB rate of 61.3, Decker Crosby a transferring senior scoring the first touchdown, and Eugene Quidenlin, our kicker, pulled through making all 4 of his field goals and putting up 6 points. Leading in sacks was John Fusco with a total of 2. Leading in tackles were Decker Crosby and Sophomore Anthony Kanellos. The theme of the night was red, white, and blue. The fans showed out with all the patriotic spirit a school could have.  There was a lightning delay at the beginning of the game that delayed the game almost 45 minutes, pushing kick-off back. The Neumann students and fans took refuge in the gym where they played volleyball and took pictures. Neumann’s next home football game is October 6 at 7:00. Hope to see you there!
