Deadly Heat Waves killing America’s Citizens

In the latest news, there have been deadly heat waves all over America. With some temperatures reaching up to 114 degrees, these waves are having a huge impact on people’s daily lives. Many schools and places of work are getting shut down due to these hot and uncomfortable conditions.

The cause of the heatwaves is solely because of the excessive amounts of fossil fuel humans burn day to day. It is finally catching up with us, and quickly. According to “Insider,” at least 147 people have died from the heat, and many animals are dying as well, especially farm animals. If the heat waves continue, they could possibly damage city structures, too. The heat could ruin power lines causing blackouts all over the country, leading to an even worse chain of events. The heat waves will become more of a normal occurrence in the future if we don’t cut our gas emissions, as said by “The Report.” If we continue to live how we are living, we can expect a lot of death and destruction in the future. Therefore, it is imperative that we start taking these crucial factors more seriously and take action.
