This past Thursday the Neumann Celtics went up against the First Baptist Lions. The Lions defeated the Celtics 52-7.
Despite it being the last game before the Celtics potentially going to the playoffs, they faced a devastating defeat, but made a valiant effort to beat the Lions.
Both teams showed amazing sportsmanship and skills. Both teams played amazing runs, and SJN came very close to getting some touchdowns in the first two quarters.
Then finally in the last quarter when FBA switched out some players, SJN was finally able to get a touchdown and their extra point was good bringing the final score to 52-7.
Even though this wasn’t the way Neumann wanted to end their Football season, they ended it strongly, fighting hard to win!
